We train models, build the infrastructure around them, and work on problems involving model architecture, training, inference, evaluation and agents. Our current work includes Goldenfish, a model focused on structured decision making that is currently being trained, and Intelligence Network, an experimental P2P system for connecting compute, models and data across machines.Blog
Research
Our research is centered on a few practical questions: how small a model can be while still being genuinely useful, how much performance can come from better training instead of simply adding parameters, and when a specialized model is a better tool than a general-purpose language model.
We test those questions through our own training runs, benchmarks and infrastructure, then use the results to decide what is worth pushing further. Goldenfish is currently where most of that model research is happening, while Intelligence Network explores the infrastructure side of the problem.
